World Book Day 5th March
This year school will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 5 th March. We will be participating in activities that are being run by the Literacy Trust in conjunction with the National Year of Reading as set out by the Department of Education. Our whole school theme is ‘Sport in Literature.’ We will be looking at non-fiction texts which explore different sports and influential sporting personalities. Important Weather Update
Dear Parents and Carers, Important Weather Update – School Closure We have received an update from Wolverhampton Council regarding severe weather conditions. Snow is expected from this evening through to around 9:00 a.m. tomorrow. Forecasts predict 10–15 cm of snow, with possible drifts up to 20 cm. Dear Parents and Carers, We are excited to invite you to our Winter/Christmas Enterprise Project Day! Each class across the school has been busy designing and creating their very own festive crafts, and we can’t wait to share their wonderful work with you. Wellbeing Award
In 2023, we were thrilled to be awarded the Wellbeing Award for Schools , recognising our commitment to supporting the emotional wellbeing and mental health of both pupils and staff. ANTI-BULLYING WEEK - Next week
On Monday 10th November, wear odd or jazzy socks! Normal uniform on this day please. Anti-Bullying Week 2025 will take place from Monday 10th - Friday 14th November, with the theme: Power for Good. The week will kick off with Odd Socks Day on Monday 10th, with adults and children being encouraged to wear odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique. Children in Need - Friday 14th November 2025
Next Friday (14th November) is Children in Need Day. The theme this year is to be 'Challenge Yourself to 25 '. Over the half term break, school invites children to create a poster to encourage reading as it is good for your well-being and mental health . Please feel free to be as creative as possible.
