Children in Need - Friday 14th November 2025

Next Friday (14th November) is Children in Need Day.

The theme this year is to be 'Challenge Yourself to 25'. BBC Children in Need is asking the UK to challenge themselves to help make a difference when it’s needed most

Children in Need is such a worthwhile cause as they fund local charities and projects who help remove barriers that are facing children and young people, so that they can thrive. Last year, Children in Need supported over 460,000 children and young people by a whole range of disadvantages such as poverty, disability, illness, distress or trauma.

To help support the event, we ask pupils who wear non-uniform to make a minimum charitable donation of £1.

If your child would like to participate on this day, donations will be collected via the buckets on the school gates before and after school.

There is no particular dress code theme, however, for this charity event, if children wish, they can wear clothing with spots, dots, bright yellow or Children In Need/Pudsey branding.
