Dear Parents and Carers,

Important Weather Update – School Closure

We have received an update from Wolverhampton Council regarding severe weather conditions.

Snow is expected from this evening through to around 9:00 a.m. tomorrow. Forecasts predict 10–15 cm of snow, with possible drifts up to 20 cm. This is likely to cause major disruption to roads, with main routes affected and many side roads potentially impassable.

The council will focus on gritting and clearing priority routes, but emergency services are expected to be under considerable strain.

To ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of our school community, school will be closed on Friday 9th January 2026.

Learning at home activities will be sent home with your child at the end of the day today
