World Book Day

Good afternoon,

I would like to give parents advance notice that this year we will be celebrating World Book Day on Tuesday 4th March.

We have an exciting guest visitor coming to Stow Heath to lead us in a day of poetry. His name is Pep the Poet.

Children will have an opportunity to listen to performances and take part in poetry workshops. Additionally, there is an opportunity to pre-order poetry books by Pep, which he will sign. Please see the attached information regarding this.

On this day, Tuesday 4th March, children will be able to attend school dressed in a costume of a book character. 

Later this week, I will send out the World Book Day vouchers, which are valid to spend from Thursday 13th February at participating retailers. You can explore the books that are available this year here.
