Easter competitions

Dear Parents/Guardians,

With Easter around the corner, we are excited to announce that there will be an Easter competition for each year group across the school. This festive event will encourage our children to share their artistic talent and celebrate the spirit of Easter with us.

Please find the important competition guidelines below:

Easter Bonnet (Little Rockets, Nursery, Reception and Year 1)

• Each student should decorate a hat to create their own Easter themed bonnet using materials such as paper, fabric, ribbons, flowers and other decorative items.

• Please put the child’s name inside the hat so we can call the winning names in assembly.

Egg Decorating (BIG Rockets, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6)

• Each student should create a scene with their own chosen theme (maximum of two eggs per participant). Decorations can include paint, markers, stickers, glitter and other materials.

• Please put the child’s name at the bottom of their box so we can call the winning names in assembly.

The competition is scheduled to be judged on the 21st of March 2024 so please ensure your child brings in their masterpiece on this day. Judging will be based on creativity, originality and overall appearance. Prizes will be awarded to each year group in assembly.

We would love for you to get involved and assist your children, but we encourage them to take the lead in the creative process.

We hope to make this Easter competition a memorable and joyful experience for our entire school to share. We can’t wait to see the incredible creations that our talented students come up with!
