Good morning everyone.
You will have no doubt by now probably heard on the news that school is not going to be reopening after the February half term on Monday 22nd February.
Yesterday, the Prime Minister announced that it will not be possible to resume face-to-face learning immediately after the February half-term and instead hopes it will be safe to commence the re-opening of schools and colleges from Monday 8 March. This is in response to the national public health data and pressure on NHS capacity.
We will continue our home learning provisions during this time.
Thank you to the parents who responded to our parents survey this week. We hope to share with you the feedback that we received as well as some help and suggestions on home learning in the coming days.
Schools were also advised yesterday that they will close as usual over February half-term and are not expected to remain open to vulnerable children and the children of critical workers during that week.
School will close on Friday 12th February 2021 and reopen on Monday 22nd February to the children currently attending.
Information regarding free school meals over the February half term is expected tomorrow and we will update parents as soon as we are able to.
