Usually at this point in the Autumn Term, we would be hosting our first Parents Evening of the year.
As we are in a second national lockdown, we will not be able to open our doors to parents as we normally would.
Instead, we are going to hold telephone conversations with parents so that we can inform you how your child is settling back into school and any areas that we can work on together to help your child with.
As a school, we pride ourselves on building relationships with parents and this year, due to COVID-19, we have not been able to communicate with you in the ways that we normally would so we would like to take this opportunity to hold conversations that we have very much missed.
Each year group will have a designated day to call. Telephone conversations will take place between 9am and 4pm. Each telephone conversation will last for 10 minutes and will cut off after this time so that we are able to fit everyone in.
Due to covering bubbles, teachers will only be able to make these conversations on their designated day.
Next week, your child will come home with a slip for you to indicate whether you would prefer a morning or afternoon telephone call and we will do our best to stick to these times.
The dates are:
Monday 16th November - Year 6 - NOW THURSDAY 26TH NOVEMBER
Tuesday 17th November - Year 2
Wednesday 18th November - Year 4
Thursday 19th November - Year 5 & Nursery AM (YEAR 5 WILL NOW BE WEDNESDAY 25TH NOVEMBER)
Friday 20th November- Nursery PM
Monday 23rd November - Year 1
Tuesday 24th November - Year 3
Wednesday 25th November - Reception.
This is the best alternative we can offer to our usual systems in school.
