Dear Parents & Carers,
Thank you to all parents who are wearing face coverings when on or around the school sites. There has been a significant increase in the number of parents wearing masks and I wish to thank you as you are helping to keep our children and staff safe as well as keeping bubbles open.
I wish to also thank you for your support in getting your children to and from school on time. Stow Heath is a large site with 480 children to get in and out of the building safely within a short window of time and we rely on your support in sticking to the times of the day for your children.
School is experiencing a high volume of children arriving late to school on a regular basis. This puts your child in possible contact with other year groups, something which we are trying to minimise as much as possible. As a school, we try to support parents wherever possible and know that sometimes situations arise but we ask that you please adhere to your child's start & finish times as much as possible.
I want to also assure parents that our staff in school are also playing their part in keeping safe and keeping bubbles open. All staff wear face coverings when in the corridors in school and other busy areas of school. Staff are also undertaking twice weekly lateral flow tests in order to keep school running as normal as possible.
Whilst I know there appears to be lots of frustrating rules, as a school we have to abide by Government guidelines and I am asking parents to support us with this even if you do not necessarily agree. For the safety of the children, the whole school community needs to work together.
Thank you again for your support.
Mrs Scoffham & everyone here at Stow Heath.
