Jewellery in school

A polite reminder for our school community.

For health and safety reasons, we do not allow children to wear jewellery in our school.

The exceptions to this rule are earring studs in pierced ears and a simple watch (i.e. not a smart watch). Pupils must remove or cover these items during PE and games to prevent them from causing injury - staff are not permitted to remove these for pupils.

Should a pupil need to wear jewellery for religious or medical reasons, parents must seek permission by way of a letter to the Headteacher.
