Currently in school, we have three confirmed cases of COVID-19 at our school, (two pupils and one adult) and we have one member of staff who is still recovering from the virus as a result of being hospitalised following testing positive.
This serves as an opportunity to remind the SHP community of the importance of working together to keep everyone as safe as possible:
Parents should wear a face mask or visor when dropping off or collecting their children from school.
We are still having parents ask to speak to members of staff on the gates - we CANNOT do this at this time. We will call you back as soon as we are able to.
Please do not block the gates where children enter/leave and move away from the gates promptly. Please do not hold conversations on the pavements and block the pathways.
Please do not arrive to drop off/collect your child more than a few minutes before their allocated times. This will limit the congestion around the gates.
It is vital that children arrive to school and are collected on time. This will limit the contact that your child has with other bubbles.
It is now important that we ask if your child develops any cold or flu symptoms, please do not bring your child to school until they have had a test. They can return to school should their test come back as negative and will help us to keep all children in school safe.
We all need to work together to keep us all safe during these difficult times.
